Harm reduction is a healthcare approach that focuses on keeping people who use drugs safe, alive, and treated with dignity without judgment. It includes tools like overdose-reversal medication, safer-use supplies, and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), which can cut the risk of death by 50%.

But despite these proven solutions, overdose deaths continue to rise, and only 1 in 10 people with opioid use disorder receive life-saving treatment. A major reason is stigma and lack of education among healthcare providers. Our project aims to close that gap by bringing harm reduction education directly to future clinicians.
